100% electric at ABBIT

After driving one pure electric car since 2011, ABBIT decided to buy no more oil consuming cars. From now on anyone that needs their car replaced can choose from a list of a reasonably priced electric cars. At the same time we will maximize our solar electricity production and minimize heating on gas or oil. We do this for health, energy independence, the environment and to stop oil based wars.

Abbit charges First Electric around-the-globe Car

The Electric Odyssey is the about the First Electric car going around the globe. The First Fully electric car on batteries that you can buy today, to be more precise.
Two young French engineers took on an adventure like in the old days. Not sure if they will make history like the first flight crossing the channel with an airplane did. But an adventure nevertheless. Antonin and Xavier, need the help of ordinary citizens that allow them to charge their batteries. And this is how we got involved.

Charging the Electric Odyssey car at ABBIT; on solar energy if it were day...

The stop in our company was thanks to a call from our own Citroen garage, where we bought our first electric car of exactly the same make, a C-ZERO.

We were happy and even a bit proud to offer them an inside parking spot with a charging plug and even a bed to stay the night.

After checking in the car and the drivers we went out for a bite.

One of the  local Frituurs provided the full experience of the local folk cuisine

The fries , which do NOT call FRENCH fries, came in large portions with mayonnaise, tartar sauce and 2 other sauces. The meat was a ‘boulet’, a 'bereklauw', a 'curryworst special' a viandel and more... with a Belgian beer off course. A real treat of the so typical Belgian 'frituur cultuur'

To close the evening, we went to the oldest café on the market square: St Pieter. Here we each selected a Belgian beer: a De Konick, an Orval and a Leffe; each came with its own typical and branded glass.

Bon voyage!
